Guild Charter

The rules that govern the brawls.

WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS IDEALS

1A.  Be friendly, mature, and helpful to your guild mates. Respect them and their needs equally, regardless of guild rank, age, gender, or length in guild. WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS guild does its best to help each member improve upon their skills and abilities.

1B. If you come across good BOE gear a guild member can use and benefit from it is recommended, but not required, that you pass the item on to them. WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS guild does not require its members to offer free profession services to other WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS members but it is up to the individual member in regards to how they want to handle the transaction. Believe me, if you charge guild members more than non-guilded it WILL get back to the officers/GM. My unofficial guideline is this: If they provide all mats, I do anything for guildies for free. Of course, transmutes and other time-related actions are an exception to where performing a transmute temporarily prevents the guild member from performing another transaction; but those should be handled as maturely and as independently as possible.

1C. Do NOT be angry or upset when a guildmate wins gear that you wanted. Accept it, be happy for that guild member and move on and know that the guild is here to help everyone get all of their “set pieces.” The key to this game is about patience and the guild working together to achieve everyone’s needs. Selfishness only gets noticed and eventually it becomes suggested for a loot-monger’s removal. WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS does not tolerate Loot Mongers.

GUILD CHAT/HELPING BEHAVIOR

2A). Guild chat is meant to be about game related topics ONLY.
2B). Do NOT excessively swear in guild chat or any other chat channel. We understand that some may vent time to time, but some members tend to abuse our tolerances. If someone in the guild is going overboard or has trouble keeping the language appropriate and on topic, please notify an officer or Guild master.

2C). Do NOT spam guild chat asking for help. A guild is meant to help, but when “Person 1” repeatedly says “hey can someone help me in ragefire” 8 times within 10 minutes as an example, it becomes annoying. Please, when asking for help, the most effective means is to whisper members directly or to phrase it in way such as “Hi all, i”m helping “blank” in ragefire; anyone want to come?” If nobody replies they either didn”t see it, aren”t free, dont want to help, or are unavailable to come. Only one of these reasons is negative, so please dont react negatively when/if people dont respond to pleas for help as chances are, people aren’t being mean they’re just unavailable.

2D). Do NOT start or perpetuate arguments in guild chat. Notify an officer if you feel you witnessed offensive or aggressive behavior.

2E). Do NOT brag or link incredible or “epic” items into guild chat claiming to have tons of gold. This doing this excessively is extremely in poor taste and creates a negative atmosphere in guild chat. If you have tons of gold and nothing to do with it, then give it to the guild bank for distribution for the guild. It is acceptable to paste epic items into guild chat in joyous celebration of your obtainment of them but please know which is which….

2F). Purchasing GOLD within the guild should only be done from approved sellers (to mitigate risk of ban), third party seller are strictly prohibited due to risk to raid.

2G). The guild master and officers currently maintains the guild bank. ANY donations to guild bank are extremely appreciated and will be used ONLY for guild needs. Once you donate an item it becomes property of the guild and its fate will be determined by the leadership either by RRneed/RRgreed, gifts, events, potion purchase, etc.

GUILD BEHAVIOR

Membership into WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS means that you are an ambassador of our guild to other guilds. Please be a good representative for the WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS guild.

3A). Do not harass, stalk, grief(tap a mob), or slander other players in public.

3B). Do NOT beg for money, Do NOT beg for help, Do NOT spam general chat.

3C). Do NOT suggest someone is a ninja without proof of a screenshot or confirmation from at least 2 other players; preferably officers-counts as slander.

3D). Be mindful of all public posts on discords, forums and their content.

3E). When possible, please avoid corpse camping-it is just rude and all occurrences of extreme corpse camping usually comes back to the guild master.

3F). “Ninjaing” an item or “ninja looting” is not tolerated under any circumstances. If this situation occurs the officers will vote on your future with us once the facts are laid out and if determined/proven responsible you will be removed from the guild immediately.

However, there have been situations where players have “accidentally” ninja”d or let a friend play their account. If a friend plays your account and ninjas an item it is in extremely poor taste and irresponsible on your behalf to allow such an event and the officers/GM will decide your fate. All these cases will be treated on an individual basis and will most likely result in your removal from guild.

OFFICERS EXPECTATIONS

4. Officer Responsibilities. Please respect the decisions of the Officers and if any conflicts arise they are to be handled in private channels. Officers make decisions based on the best interest of the guild and not of the individual. Officers are always open to suggestions on any topic regarding our status as a guild or improvements for our guild and officers will not retaliate toward any members for providing their inputs. Officers found to be in retaliation toward individual members will be demoted and/or removed from guild.

4A). Officer, and Guild master are held to higher expectations than other members. All officers are expected to keep the guild to its highest quality and to mentor all members toward this ideal. The duties that are expected of all officers are: interviewing potential members, managing raid issues, managing guild issues, dealing with drama, determining proper course of actions, determining looting, punishing/booting members displaying unacceptable behaviour, mentoring members, offering constructive advice on builds/techs.

4B). Officers with access to officer chat are expected to maintain confidentiality with all that is spoken in officer chat. Officers may not discuss information contained in officer chat with non-officers. Officers found to have violated this rule may be subject to demotion of officer status.

Raid Rules and Guild Remedies

5. It is NOT tolerated to be disruptive when going over strategy/tactics in a raid. Please refrain from using the main raid channel for nonsense information. We have a secondary channel for these types of comments.

6. Trade skills are important to improving the capabilities of our guild. It is expected that we help each other grow and develop these skills whenever possible. If you notice someone who is consistently a taker and not a donater in either materials or quest assistance please report them to an officer and we will discuss it with them. The latter is, in some cases, grounds for removal from the guild.

7. Your behavior in game reflects your guild. We as a group have worked extremely hard to earn the respect of other players on both sides of the battlefield. This will not be compromised by the actions of the few, it simply will not be tolerated. Should officers agree that a members actions pose a threat to our standings depending on the severity of the threat they will first be warned, and if the behavior continues after being given a chance for improving their behavior they will then be removed from WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS. More serious offenses may warrant immediate removal from WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS.

8. WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS members take membership extremely seriously. Members found to be applying to other guilds during their time in WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS will be subject to AT LEAST a standard 1 month ban from WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS Loot Council raids (GL, MAG, SCC, TK, HJ, BT, SW). In situations, where warranted, the member applying to other guilds may also be removed from WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS for the first offense.

9. WAFFLE HOUSE BRAWLERS guild is always willing to satisfy the guild members but the Guild Master reserves any final decisions regarding guild practices/procedures/decisions.

10. WAFFLE HOUSE LEADERSHIP DISPUTES will always be handled with atleast 2 officers as witness present at the closest Waffle House Parking lot to both conflicting members of leadership. Fight will be first one to KO/Forfit.
